MoreAbout JCaroline’s

It’smore than just food.

There’s more to a plate of food than meets the eye. This is what draws me to cooking.

Two of the greatest aspects of food are its ability to bring people together by creating common ground and adding value to communities through strong partnerships with local suppliers.

This belief in creating a connection and local pride drives the inspiration behind J.Caroline’s – I want to make people happy by providing great food always, with the right balance of fresh ingredients, local goods, and love.

It’sabout creating dishes that speak.

J.Caroline’s is named after my grandmother, Caroline. She was a fabulous home cook who put love and care into everything she made. When I was young, my grandmother lost her ability to speak due to a stroke but I was able to remain connected to her through cooking. Her hand-written notes and cookbooks spoke to me as I learned her talent of preparing delicious no-fuss comfort food that I now bring to J.Caroline’s

Itall has to do with home.

Opening J.Caroline’s in Sault Ste. Marie was an easy decision for me. It allows me to continue pursuing my love of food while creating job opportunities and bringing value to the community of my hometown.

  • Went here to pick up the lunch feature for today; which was a chicken ceasar wrap with either soup, salad or fries and a drink for $10. Was very fast from order to my order being ready to go. Great prices, very accommodating and very filling. Will definitely visit here again (next time I'll just make sure to call in my order ahead of time)

  • Jane has been cooking in professional kitchens since she was 13, became a professional chef at 18, and has cooked at some of the best restaurants in Canada and Australia. We're lucky to have her and her team here in the Sault. Best food you'll eat, hands down. The Veggie poutine is to die for.
